Measure Visit Success – Profitable Days
* In response to a question posed by a client “how can you measure a successful day for a B2B sales person” there was no clear answer. However, another client had an idea and we have now implemented this for you all to use.
* There is a new system setting to define the number of days between a visit and the next order being received by a customer when you feel that the order was likely to have been as a result of that visit. That might be, say, 7 days.
Toucan will now look at all new orders placed and for each, if there has been a visit to the customer on the day or within the above number of days, the visit interaction will be marked as a “Success”.
This is a new column when viewing interactions, shaded green to stand out:
* We have also made the visit appear shaded green instead of orange in the Diary – so flicking back through the Diary, you can see the spread of successful visits vs non-successful visits.
