New Customers Trading Features

New Additional Format for Sales Order and Sales Invoice Patterns

*  We felt that the current Order Pattern dashboards which you need to select a calendar year lacked some readability and also did not display the data in a format that you might want to export to Excel, perhaps to share with a customer.

We have therefore added a 24-month pattern dashboard, listing all products that the selected customer has purchased, by month, with totals for the last and previous 12 months.

*  Radio buttons allow you to show this data as quantities or net values:

* You can also drill into a product clicking on the + icon to see each order or invoice for the product:

New Product Group Gap Analysis

*  Customer buying trends can sometimes hide lost sales – overall a customer may be buying well from you but digging deeper, they have stopped ordering from a product group or range.  Maybe they have changed supplier of candles or photo frames, but how to spot?

* We have provided two new dashboards on the Customer page, showing

*  Two powerful drill downs are provided from the above dashboard.  First, by clicking on the + sign by a product group, you can drill to view every order line the customer has placed for products in that group:

*  The second drill-down, by clicking on the product group name, provides a Gap Analyis showing the sales and gaps for the last 24 months for all products that the customer has bought from that product group PLUS any products in that group that are your “Best Sellers”, whether they have bought them or not – a great way of upselling!

*  Are you using the Customer Preferences feature?  This is particularly useful when looking at the Gap Analysis dashboards.  If a customer is just not interested in a product group, maybe their store is too small for furniture, using these Preferences, you can click on “Not Interested” and that group will be greyed out in gap analysis dashboards. If, however, you want to focus on selling more of that product group to the customer, click on “Target” and this group will be highlighted in green in the gap analysis dashboards:
